Purchasing a Siberian Husky from Mountaineer Farm
Information - Mountaineer Farm Purchasing and Proceedures
As each litter is priced individually, you will see the specified pricing on the Available Puppies page. We encourage pair purchases, for owners that have no other animals. The reduced paired purchase pricing is also available on the respective Available Puppies page.
  • Deposits for each litter are the same. There is a $200 non-refundable deposit. The deposit can be floated to another litter if you feel none of the current pups are right for you. The deposit fee is not in addition to the purchase fee. The deposit fee comes off of the purchase price.
  • For puppies being picked up, the total purchase price, minus any deposits and installments, is due at the puppy pick up appointment at the pups 8 week of age.
  • For puppies being flown, the total purchase price including shipping, minus any deposits and installments, is due at 6 weeks of the puppies age.
  • Flying a puppy is an additional $325. This includes, but is not limited to, plane ticket, crate, food and water dishes, leash and collar, veterinarian health certificate, certificate of acclimation, gas, and handling. Handling is based on my waking up at 4:30 am and driving an hour to stand in airport receiving for a half an hour or more to ensure your pup gets where it's going on time.

We spend day and night nursing, caring, and aiding in the positive treatment of these Siberian Husky pups. We're available throughout your dogs lifetime for advice and care tips. For those that qualify for breeding rights, we walk them thru the process with our ever expanding knowledge base, nothing is held back. For the safety of the owners and their pets, we microchip all our puppies at no additional cost. For the health of the new owners and pups, we use high titer, veterinarian grade vaccinations and deworming medications at all appropriate life stages. To produce a true Siberian Husky companion, these pups undergo neurological stimulation, rigorous socialization with humans young and old, and introductions to normal everyday household occurrences. Such as: vacuum cleaners, car rides, other dogs, inside/outside housing, lightning, thunder, etc. Nutritional needs are met thru premium grade kibble, Iam's. Siberian Huskies need a specific amount of protein and zinc in their diet, Iam's has the perfect amount. Our pups are raised underfoot, in a well balanced family setting. We pride our selves on always doing the best we can to aid in our pups and dogs overall health and well being. When you become a customer of Mountaineer Farm Siberian Huskies you become a friend. There is nothing more important than needing advice and receiving it. Because this breed is primarily for the advanced dog owner, most kennels will discourage first time dog owners from entering into the world of the Siberian Husky. We do not. We've walked countless newcomers thru there introductions and lifestyle changes. If you have the patience to overcome the first few hurdles the Siberian Husky breed is the last breed of dog you will ever own. They're intelligence, beauty, and energy make for one of the most human like animals on the planet. They are like having a 3 year old all their lives! With proper handling, training, and care you could have the best dog you've ever had.
