About the Swartz Family

Mountaineer Farm has been in the Swartz family for over 200 years. Our farm is made up of nearly 300 acres of pastures, hay fields, homes, and Short Hill Mountain. We raise Black Angus Beef Cattle as well as Siberian Huskies.

Expect dirt roads and pure country here on the farm.  We pride in what we have and work hard to maintain it. 

Our dogs love to get loose and chase the cattle.  Something we don't quite care for!  They love to run the whole herd and aggrevate the bulls!

Our children, ages 5 and 7, help with the puppies and the dogs.  They assist with feeding, watering, excersizing and socializing.  Our kids are a huge asset to our Siberian Husky establishment.

Jason and Jessica, primary owners, are always kept busy with the dogs.  Mainly fence repair!  Jessica, works tirelessly to keep up with the dogs, kids, puppies, and our website!
